SUMMARY: Responsible for the coordination of the evaluation of the Cardiac procedure and assisting the physician during diagnostic cardiac procedures; responsible for patient preparation, making sure room is set up properly, and operation of highly sophisticated diagnostic monitoring and data recording equipment. Provides care and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Assumes a primary responsibility for the well-being of the patient.
Required Education/Training: Graduate of a school of nursing
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS
Preferred Education/Training: BSN; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: Minimum two (2) years clinical experience in an acute care setting; critical care nursing experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: CCRN; CEN; PALS; ACLS
