Responsibilities
- Manage Havenpark’s HR Processes, Policies, Projects, and Employee Transitions (30% of Time)
- Own and manage HR processes such as onboarding new hires, employee moves, promotions, data changes, and documentation.
- Create, and manage content, interpretation, and execution of HR Policies and the HR Handbook.
- Lead and participate in HR projects related to onboarding, compensation, engagement, employee relations, career pathing, career and leadership development, recognition, HR skill building, etc.
- Assume a lead role in managing open enrollment, benefits management, and benefits compliance.
- Manager HR records, file management, and maintain employee confidentiality.
- Manage Annual Performance and Pay Adjustment Processes.
- Act as a Strategic Business Partner; Lead Dispute Resolution and Employee Relations Activities (30% of Time)
- Provide advice, strategic support, and counsel to leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
- Proactively address needs before they become highly charged or unmanageable; Take action without being directed.
- Skillfully conduct investigations, probe for facts, accurately anticipate implications of events or decisions, and plan accordingly.
- Identify root causes of disputes and make recommendations for prevention and ways to quickly resolve issues.
- Manage Data Entry, Data-Driven Insights, Reporting, Auditing, Compliance and General HR Inquiries (20% of Time)
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in reporting; Able to analyze data and develop action plans based on trends; Work with key stakeholders in addressing gaps, issues, or concerns.
- Handle data entry for standard employee data changes.
- Drive detailed analysis and insights based on data and align HR strategies with core business metrics.
- Take ownership of HR Compliance reporting (EEO-1 Report, ADA, etc.)
- Act as the primary owner of HRIS and other HR systems (Rippling, Lattice, etc.)
- Provide mentoring and training on systems to leaders or junior HR team members.
- Prepare reports and gather data within HRIS (Rippling) as needed.
- Answer general incoming HR queries.
- Oversee internal shared documents and make updates as needed.
- Provide HR Team Leadership, Coaching, and Change Management (20% of Time)
- Assume People Manager responsibilities for setting goals, managing day-to-day performance, and providing feedback, coaching, and development.
- Train employees and leaders at all levels on varying HR topics, from basic policies and procedures to employment law and legal matters.
- Foster an environment with business partners, teams, and within People Operations that leads to relationship-building and collaborative problem-solving.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and implement change.
- Proactively seek to develop self, team members, and direct reports.
- Speak up and share recommendations based on facts, data, and professional opinions based on Havenpark’s culture and values.
- Be a champion of Havenpark’s culture and employment brand.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Organization, attention to detail, knowledge of Rippling or other HRIS.
- Proficient in Office 365 and SharePoint.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of employment law.
- Data analytics
- Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Track record of delivering both individual and team results.
- Track record of consistently completing projects on time.
