Tripalink is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support our growing, multi-state organization. This (mostly) in-office role, based in our Koreatown (Los Angeles) headquarters, is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings strong experience supporting hourly, multi-state workforces, and is passionate about scalable, people-first HR practices. You’ll partner closely with the Sr. HR Business Partner and cross-functional leaders to ensure operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and leave administration.
- Maintain clean, accurate HRIS records and ensure timely reporting and documentation aligned with compliance standards.
- Be the first line of support for employee questions related to benefits, payroll, and HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong emphasis on California and hourly workforce requirements.
- Maintain and update handbooks and policies across multiple states.
- Support audit processes (e.g., 401k, ACA, workers’ comp) and maintain documentation readiness.
- Administer and track leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
- Support employee relations efforts, including documentation, logistics, and follow-through on investigations and issue resolution.
- Draft and maintain HR documents and communications, including onboarding materials and policy updates.
- Champion process improvements and identify opportunities to increase employee satisfaction and workflow efficiency.
- Generate and analyze HR metrics (headcount, turnover, engagement trends) to guide decision-making.
- Support ongoing HRIS maintenance and system improvements (ADP Workforce Now, Human Interest, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve process scalability.
- Partner with the Sr. HR Business Partner on performance management cycles, training coordination, and engagement programs.
- Help build internal HR knowledge documentation and tools to scale operations as the company grows.
Requirements
- 3 - 4 years of progressive startup HR experience, with direct experience supporting hourly and multi-state employee populations.
- Deep knowledge of employment law, especially in California.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now preferred) and comfort working across digital tools including Slack and the Google stack.
- Intermediate proficiency with Google Sheets; specifically pivot tables and vlookups.
- High attention to detail, excellent organization, and strong follow-through.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Discretion and integrity in managing confidential information.
