Jose Santana
About
My name is Jose Joaquin Santana Jr., and I’m a recent graduate of Albright College with a degree in Business Administration. As a proud first-generation college student, I dedicated my time to both academic and extracurricular growth—balancing rigorous coursework with a wide range of leadership and service roles across campus.
During my time at Albright, I was a student-athlete and an active member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. I served as the Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) Treasurer and President, as well as a representative on the Presidential Student Advisory Council. These leadership roles taught me how to effectively work with diverse groups of people, manage time and responsibilities, and lead with purpose.
I also held two on-campus jobs—one at the Student Center and another at the campus gym desk. Both positions strengthened my customer service skills, involving responsibilities such as handling money, making phone calls, sending emails, and assisting both students and members of the surrounding community. These experiences further enhanced my strong bilingual communication skills.
Within Sigma Alpha Epsilon, I took on key positions such as IFC Representative, Internet Chair, and Social Chair. These roles helped me develop skills in marketing, social media management, event planning, and inter-organizational collaboration. Through my fraternity, I also took part in philanthropic efforts and numerous community service events—opportunities that allowed me to give back and grow both personally and professionally.
Overall, my college journey helped me become a dynamic, adaptable, and service-driven individual with a passion for leadership, communication, and community building.
