About
I am a junior at Northwestern University majoring in Slavic Studies and International Relations, and minoring in Economics. Much of my academic work is focused on understanding why Western sanctions consistently fail to produce their desired effect on the Russian economy.
During my time at Emory University - and now at Northwestern - I have authored articles on a variety of complex geopolitical and economic topics ranging from the Russo-Ukrainian conflict to the UK’s national budget - utilizing IPE, AI and quantitative analysis with STATA.
I am also a proven self starter with the organizational skills required to manage projects autonomously or with minimal oversight. I founded – and currently serve as President of – the Russian Culture Club, an organization I established to study Russian literature and music on campus. Additionally, as Recruitment Chair for my Chapter, I developed and executed strategies which maximized member attraction and retention, while also managing the associated logistics and budgeting.
