It is the Patient Registration Manager's primary responsibility to direct, supervise, and coordinate daily activities of patient registration at St. Joseph's and Candler Hospitals which includes patient reception, registration, and time of service collections. It is the Patient Registration Manager's responsibility to promote high levels of customer service and quality will be maintained while the patient is in-house.

Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

3 -4 Years Supervisory experience - Required

2-3 Years Management in a hospital or other medical setting - Preferred

1 Year Experience with third party payor approval and collection requirements - Preferred

1 Year Familiarity with established clinical review criteria - Preferred

- Reviews quality and quantity activity using available reporting tools. Initiates appropriate co-worker counseling and re-training when necessary. Provides ongoing technical training.
- Uses lesson plans and tests. Manages and maintains a training schedule. Solicits evaluations and feedback and makes appropriate adjustments based on the feedback.
- Reviews and approves/denies all co-worker PTO requests. Maintains adequate staffing levels in all areas. Maintains open communication with co-workers regarding call-ins.
- Improves methods for monitoring and reporting registration information quality. Coordinates processes with Patient Accounts and Insurance/Payment Verification. Analyzes errors to determine the need for additional edits.
- Organizes data well, meets deadlines, shows an ability to analyze data and ensure integrity and comparability.
- Resolve pending issues, using skills to drill down to the root cause and obtain assistance to bring the problem to a satisfactory resolution for SJC.
- Responsible for the complete payroll processing. Ensure integrity of payroll records.
