Position Summary
|
|
This position is responsible for providing IT support for Aultman Health Foundation. The Desktop Support team reports directly to the Director of IT Services.
|
|
|

Department Summary

Provides technical and operational IT support for Aultman Health Foundation, ensuring the reliable delivery of technology services and meeting the organization's IT requirements.
|
|
|
|
Qualifications
|
- Associates Degree in a Computer Related Field is required
- Bachelor’s Degree or structured advanced training in Information Technology is preferred.
|
- One year of IT experience is preferred.
|
|
|
|
Department Qualifications
|
- Knowledge of computer systems and related technology, including multiple software systems, interfaces, printers, and peripheral operating systems.
|
|
|
|
Skills
|
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
|
- High level of verbal and written communication ability.
|
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
|

|
|
Responsibilities & Expectations
|
- Provides technical and operations support to users of Aultman Health Foundation information system devices, which include, but are not limited to:
- Desktops, All-in-One Computers, Laptops, Tablets,
- Mobile Computing Carts
- Monitors
- Printers
- Fingerprint Readers and Badge Readers
- Application installs and support
- Cell Phone activations and support

- Provides technical and operations support to users of Aultman Health Foundation approved operating systems and software applications which include but are not limited to:
- Microsoft Windows 111
- Microsoft Office 365
- Imprivata
- Cisco Secure Client
- Citrix Workspace
- Cerner Oracle
|
- Various Internet Applications.
|
- Maintain Department goals for ticket closures and computer refreshes.
|
- Provides technical and operations support to users regarding the wired and wireless network Aultman facilities.
|
- Provides support for office moves and fingerprint sessions.
|
- Provides initial troubleshooting support for all tiers within the IT Division.
|
- Maintains IT equipment database for Aultman Health Foundation assets.
|
- Is included in the on-call rotation to provide 24-hour support.
|
- Any other duties or projects as assigned
|

Working Conditions
|
|
|

|
|
|
- Lunch per department policy.
|
- Works in well-lighted/ventilated office area.
|
- Works at individual workstation equipped with laptop, desk, telephone, shelves, and necessary supplies.
|
- Subject to changes in priorities and stress.
|
- Subject to frequent interruptions due to questions from staff members and customers
|
|
|

Hazardous Exposure Category
|
|
Category III - Includes tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and Category I tasks are not a condition of employment. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood; body fluids or tissues (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone anywhere might encounter potential exposure to body fluids.) Persons who perform these duties are not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid or to be potentially exposed in some other way.
