JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Manager

JOB STATUS: Full Time, Non-exempt; Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm)
Summary:
Support the Community Living Management Team by ensuring department services are implemented effectively and comply with Rauch policies, BQIS and CARF standards, and applicable health and safety requirements. This position monitors compliance, coordinates required training, supports quality improvement, and assists staff and management in maintaining high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor Community Living compliance with BQIS, CARF, and Rauch policies and procedures
· Assist with developing and updating policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
· Identify required staff training and monitor completion and documentation
· Support the integration of health and safety policies into daily Community Living operations
· Provide feedback, coaching, and guidance to DSPs regarding compliance and performance
· Participate in agency committees, planning activities, and quality-improvement initiatives
· Promote a safe, compliant, and person-centered work environment
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of experience providing direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities
· Supervisory experience preferred
· Strong written, verbal, electronic, and interpersonal communication skills
· Computer proficiency and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
· Demonstrated empathy and commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
· Ability to interpret standards and apply regulatory requirements to daily operations
· Ability to work effectively with staff, management, and interdisciplinary teams
· Ability to provide staff coaching, guidance, and performance feedback
· Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to organizational needs
Physical & Work Requirements:
· Frequent sitting, walking, standing, bending, manual tasks, lifting, and carrying
· Frequent lifting and carrying of more than 40 pounds
· Ability to provide 1:1 personal care assistance during emergencies or staff call-offs, including feeding, toileting, medication administration, and lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 40 pounds
· Frequent local travel and occasional long-distance travel
· Occasional evening, weekend, and outdoor work
· Must work at least one shift per quarter
· May cover open shifts for additional pay above the regular wage
· Ability to work safely in an environment involving potential hazards or physical risks
Certifications & Training Requirements:
· Complete all required Rauch, BQIS, CARF, and other regulatory training
· Maintain CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications
· Obtain and maintain Core A and B Medication Training
· Obtain and maintain Certified Restraint Training
· Complete required training in Human Rights, Incident Reporting, Individual Support Plans, Seizures, and Medication Administration

Compensation details: 19-20.25 Hourly Wage
