About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated fabricatorwho will work in the operations department assisting in the manufacturing and commissioning of our projects.
This will be an excellent opportunity to gain experience in technical industrial design, engineering and construction.
Our ideal candidate has experience in mechanical fitting, construction sites, and the electronic support systems for mechanical equipment.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Fabrication of structural and mechanical door components
- Assembly of mechanical componentry in the workshop
- Completion of ITP and O&M documentation for projects
- Assistance with R&D and New Product Design
- Management of floor stock levels of componentry and parts
Education and Skills
Formal Education: Trade Certificate in a relevant field is ideal.
Job specific skills, experience, knowledge & abilities:
Essential
- Steel fabrication experience
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and design models
- Ability to engage with technical product specifications
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the fundamental Structural engineering and Mechanical principles
- Interest and passion for construction, manufacturing, and aviation industries
- Experience in working in business IT software and hardware systems
Preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and interest highly desirable
- Experience with SolidWorks drafting system
- Experience with sitework on construction sites
- Forklift licence
Software knowledge:
- Proficiency MS Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook etc)
- Experience with 3D Drafting software – Solidworks, Tekla or equivalent
- Experience with project/work scheduling software – MS Project, Smartsheet etc.
