GENERAL SUMMARY
-
Plans, provides and monitors individualized nursing care and evidence collection to pediatric victims of sexual assault. Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care respective to the assigned patient population. Reports to the Practice Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans, provides, and monitors specific patient needs following established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Participates in on-going quality assurance, maintains regulatory requirements, and assists in establishing and updating applicable policies and procedures.

Participates in rotating on-call schedule.

Performs other duties as assigned.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
-
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited School of Nursing.

RN certification preferred.

Pediatric experience preferred.

CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.

Increased Security Clearance may be Required: Recurring FBI fingerprinting, criminal background check, Child Protective Services registry search, and Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender.

Increased Security Clearance Required for Job Roles in Medical Tower II: FBI fingerprinting, criminal background check, and Child Protective Services registry search.

WORKING CONDITIONS
-
Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards such as, but not limited to, excessive noise, dust or extremes in temperature. Frequent exposures to communicable diseases and moderately adverse working conditions due to the need to perform certain patient care activities.
