CCMS & Associates is seeking 1099 Catastrophe Desk Adjusters who are licensed and self-appointed in Florida to join our active roster!
We are looking for residential and/or commercial desk adjusters with at least 1 year of first-party property adjusting experience.
Qualified candidates must have:
- Minimum 1 year of first-party residential and/or commercial property adjusting experience
- Experience with Xactimate and/or Cotality
- Active Florida adjuster license and self-appointment
- Working computer with reliable internet access
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Experience reading insurance policies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing coverage determination letters
In this role, adjusters will:
- Handle Florida property insurance claims
- Obtain recorded statements
- Recommend reserves through well-supported reports
- Maintain compliance while managing an active claim caseload
- Review coverage forms and endorsements
- Identify potential coverage issues
- Produce well-documented reports for clients
