What You'll Do
As a Patient Care Center Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our patients and play an essential role in creating a positive experience from the very first call.
Responsibilities include:
- Answer incoming patient calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
- Schedule new and existing patient appointments
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records
- Assist patients with telehealth appointments and basic technical support
- Communicate with providers and internal departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Document interactions accurately within our electronic medical record system
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, positive, and compassionate phone presence
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous healthcare, medical office, scheduling, or call center experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
