Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist at Stephens Pharmacy. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department: Stephens Pharmacy is a retail pharmacy that has proudly served the community for over 50 years. It operates in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment where the team works directly with patients every day to help them navigate medication therapies, insurance barriers, and access challenges by using advanced tools and technology like PioneerRx, MedSync coordination, ParataMax2 and ICON pill counter. The primary focus is ensuring patients understand their medications and feel supported in their healthcare journey while building a culture that prioritizes communication, collaboration, and fun—whether it’s through spontaneous team games, food celebrations, or just making each other laugh throughout the day.
A typical day includes:
- Assures adequate supplies of medications are available
- Prepares and accurately labels medications for dispensing to patients
- Enters insurance information, processes insurance claims, and assists with billing transactions
- Assists pharmacists with communication to patients and providers
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma preferred
- Experience: Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Skills: Customer service, computer skills, and detail-oriented
- Licensure/Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri upon hire
- Physical: Ability to stand for 90% of the time
The position is: Part-time between 8am-6:30pm; 15-30 hours every 2 weeks
