Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet incoming patients in a friendly and professional manner. If required, perform an initial assessment (vital signs, chief complaint, updating medication list, etc.) and enter information into the patient’s chart. Prepare the patient for a complete examination or office procedure with appropriate dress and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
- Assist physician/provider with patient care as needed: office procedures, diagnostic testing, chaperons, specimen collection, wound care, treatments, post-operative rehabilitation, medication management, medication administration and venipuncture, etc.
- Arranges / schedules referrals, procedures, additional testing as needed. Tracks and maintains referrals as needed and tracks and enters test results into the EHR. Gives patients results of diagnostic tests and calls in physician / provider’s orders and/or requests as needed.
- Maintain and successfully trouble-shoot x-ray equipment and processor following manufacturer’s guidelines and DHEC protocol.
- Performs x-rays or other radiologic scans per provider request and prepares them for review. Prepares images and sends them to be read by an external radiologist, per accrediting requirements.
- Maintain an acceptable level of supplies for x-ray equipment.
Qualifications:

High school graduate or possess a GED.

Clinical degree / certificate in appropriate field: RT.

Current ARRT and / or SCRQSA certification.

Complete employer-led competency checkoff of medication administration and venipuncture within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience preferred
