- General cleanliness of day center area will be maintained. Safe passage for wheelchairs and walkers will be ensured.
- Activities will be planned and implemented, members encouraged to participate and documentation recorded. Supplies will be used efficiently and stored appropriately. Members will be engaged throughout the day.
- Vital signs and blood glucose levels are taken and recorded as required. Behavior, hygiene, medical status and safety of members are monitored and identified problems reported. Members are assisted with ADL's as needed.
- Utilize interpersonal and therapeutic communication skills when necessary.
- All interaction with members will reflect person-centered care which will be observed, documented on a weekly basis.
