Whatyou'lldo
You'lljoin a small, high-impact team andimmediatelyhave real influence over the direction of the product. This is a greenfield opportunity in a domainthat'scomplex, customer-visible, and strategically important to Phocas.
- Build and evolve features across the full stack: front end, back end, and data layer.
- Work directly with customers and bring their problems back into the product.
- Help shape the architecture and engineering direction of the Rebates product.
- Lead by example,settinga high bar for the team through the quality of your work and your approach to problems.
- Ship things. Quickly. And then make them better.
Whatyou'llbring
- Senior-level full-stack experience, with strong React on the front end and Java or C# on the back end.
- Comfort with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud experience, ideally AWS.
- Experience using AI to accelerate a team, not just your own output.You'veintroduced tools, changed workflows, and brought others along.
- A customer-first mindset:you'repersonable, curious about users, and happy talking directly with customers.
- Experience working in a small team wherethere'sbeen no room to hide, and you liked it that way.
- Afinancebackground or genuine interest in financial software is a big plus.
- Results-oriented:you'reimpatient to ship, willing to take some risks, and you measure success by whatactually getsout the door and makes a difference.
