Unit DirectorPosition Summary:
The Unit Director coordinates and directs the clinical and other unit activities necessary to provide quality patient care. Provides leadership to facilitate staff development and productive working relationships within the health care team.
Education:
Holds a current Texas permit or license as a Registered Nurse. BSN required (or actively pursuing). Masters preferred.
Training and Experience:
Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
Full-time status. Minimum of 3 years’ full-time R.N. experience. Prefer minimum 1 year’s leadership experience in a defined leadership role.
Successful completion of general and nursing orientation within 3 months of hire.
Completion of the following competencies within 3 months of hire or transfer:
