WTX is searching for a Sales Specialist that will sell materials and supplies to the cooling tower industry as well as other markets and industries in US and Mexico. The position will focus on cooling tower sales, repairs, and refurbishments. Travel will be required, and candidates must be fluent in Spanish.
ROLES/TASKS OF THE POSITION
- Develop sales plan, including customer targets, projected revenue, and growth plan for sales.
- Apply knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
- Create estimates and proposals and submit them to clients in a timely manner.
- Identify and locate new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Combine the travel bullets to read: Travel throughout the assigned territory in the US and Mexico to visit companies and prospective customers, promote products, and solicit orders. Collaborate with vendors to develop stocking plans, delivery plans to meet customer needs, and anticipate business growth.
- Assist in the development of a gearbox repair/refurbishment program. Identify which makes and models are most advantageous. Develop parts stocking program (gears, seals, bearings, etc.). Work with WTX engineering and quality to develop procedures and forms for the rebuild process.
- Assist in the development of a fan blade refurbishment program like the gearbox refurbishment program.
- Develop a daily/weekly call list and maintain information accuracy monthly.
- Review daily sales reports.
- Function as a liaison between potential customers and key company team members.
- Represent the company in a highly professional manner.
- Combine the answer inquiries and respond to phone call bullets to read: Respond promptly to client inquiries by phone, email, or in person regarding products, applications, and industry related information. Responsible for maintaining sales data in a CRM database.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience
REQUIRED ABILITIES
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, including regular travel to Mexico; must possess and maintain all necessary travel documentation, including a valid U.S. passport.
