About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Last Mile Operations Data Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and optimizing the final stage of the delivery process through route planning, operational analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency, ensure timely deliveries, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and service performance.
- Create and maintain detailed Excel-based reports, dashboards, and tracking spreadsheets for operational analysis.
- Coordinate with the Logistics AGS team regarding AWB deliveries, shipment tracking, and flight status updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues affecting last-mile performance.
- Monitor key operational metrics and provide regular performance updates to management.
- Conduct follow-ups with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of operational challenges.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of delivery, logistics, and performance-related data.
- Generate actionable recommendations based on data analysis to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in route planning, transportation, logistics, or last-mile delivery operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python or other data analysis/programming tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
