Will be responsible for direction of resident care in the skilled nursing setting. Manages licensed personnel. Consults with staff, physicians, management team on nursing problems and interpretation of Hospital policies to ensure resident needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities and assists in formulating budget.
Qualifications:
Must have current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of NY and a current BCLS certification. Requires 3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of geriatric care nursing. A current certification in gerontological nursing is preferred.
