Position Overview
The Stewarding Supervisor manages the stewarding department, overseeing operations, staffing, training, and full compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day stewarding operations including dishroom, pot washing, and kitchen sanitation
- Supervise, train, and schedule stewarding staff
- Ensure compliance with health codes, OSHA standards, and TSC protocols
- Conduct inventory of chemicals and equipment; submit purchase requests as needed
- Coordinate with culinary and F&B leadership on event support and daily operations
- Complete staffing reports and performance documentation
Qualifications
- Prior experience in stewarding or kitchen operations required
- Supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety standards
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
