Medisure Labs is seeking an experienced Toxicology Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our toxicology department. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate, reliable, and timely laboratory testing while maintaining compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable regulatory standards.
The Toxicology Laboratory Supervisor provides leadership to laboratory personnel, supports quality assurance initiatives, oversees workflow efficiency, and collaborates with laboratory leadership to maintain the highest standards of patient care and laboratory performance.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily toxicology laboratory operations
• Oversee specimen accessioning, sample preparation, testing, result review, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable regulations
• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory personnel
• Monitor laboratory productivity and turnaround times
• Support quality assurance and quality control programs
• Assist with method validation and implementation of new testing procedures
• Participate in inspections, audits, and accreditation activities
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership to improve laboratory operations
