About Beacon Kalamazoo
Beacon Kalamazoo provides 24/7 emergency care and a Level II Trauma Center. We deliver care for serious life-threatening injuries/illnesses, and your everyday health needs, including labor and delivery. We offer specialty care for heart/vascular disease, lung and sleep disorders, mental health conditions, and women’s health. We offer a wide range of outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging, lab tests, respiratory therapy and rehabilitation therapy services.
What You’ll Do
As an Ultrasound Technician, you’ll report to the Supervisor/Manager. You will perform diagnostic medical sonography including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, as well as vascular sonography. The Ultrasound Tech follows protocols, policies, and procedures as directed by the radiologist and/or supervising technologist. You will ensure quality patient care is provided.
Ultrasound Technician Job Responsibilities

Accurately badges daily clocking-ins, YTO/PTO, holidays and call (or timely completion of add-clocking in Active Staffer, with maximum of 10 per year).
What You Bring
You bring a Familiarity with Ultrasound equipment and with human anatomy and cross-section required. You have limited clinical skills and sterile techniques. ARDMS or ARRT (S) registry is required - requires continuing education credits.
