General store manager is the front runner in the daily business operations of the store including training and supervising employees, interacting with customers, scheduling employees in a timely manner, managing inventory levels and handling any other task involving customer service, paperwork and the cleanliness and organization of the store.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales services
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
- Comply with inventory control procedures
- Data entry to maintain store inventory in the back office computer system
- Understanding store equipment
- Maintaining store cleanliness, inventory and safey of employees and customers
Skills & Qualifications
- Store management experience
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English
- Basic Math skills
- Cash Management
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Familiarity with inventory procedures
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
- Availability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to lift up to 10-15 pounds
- Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time
- High school diploma or GED preferred
