Roustabout - Must have oilfield experience
Essential Functions:
- Safely work in a potentially hazardous environment
- Secure equipment and safely transport according to company policy and DOT regulations
- Install and make repairs to oil and produced water tanks, including confined space entry
- Dig pits and lines
- Install and make repairs to piping, valves, pumps, and motors
- Install and repair pipelines
- Perform access road upkeep and maintenance
- Clean up oil spills and general clean up
- Assist with the construction and maintenance of oil and gas drilling sites
- Dig trenches and build foundations for equipment installation
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of drilling rigs
- Perform general labor tasks as needed, including cleaning and organizing work areas
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
- Two years of experience in the roustabout trade, Supervisory experience highly preferred but not required
- Ability to think critically and strategically
- High level of communication skills (Verbal, written, and electronic)
- Ability to lift a min of 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to work overtime, when needed
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Perform other duties as needed
- Assist in Providing a safe and hazard-free work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is beneficial
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Compensation details: 18-25 Hourly Wage
