Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)
- A mental health rehabilitation worker under the treatment supervision of a mental health professional, treatment director or certified rehabilitation specialist supervise recipients to assure their health and safety; and provide rehabilitative mental health services according to the recipient's treatment plan plus:
- Respond immediately to emergency situations following established policies and procedures.
- Consult with the mental health professional and or Treatment Director on any psychiatric emergency, and follow directions as given.
- Provide a supportive, person-centered care, trauma informed care and strengths-based perspective with all residents.
- Complete all recipient skill-building and mental health interventions as assigned by the mental health professional, or Treatment Director.
- Closely monitor activities throughout the facility.
- Conduct hourly room checks throughout the facility.
- Regularly conduct fire drills, severe weather drills.
- Maintain safe access to medications for residents. Follow instructions and directions from lead staff.
Compensation details: 19-22 Hourly Wage
