Job Description: BFS Functional Expert – Retirement Products & Investment Management
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced BFS Functional Expert with deep expertise in Retirement Products and Investment Management to drive strategic initiatives within our Retirement and Wealth Management division. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with clients, lead solution design, and support transformation programs that shape the future of retirement services in the financial services industry.
As part of our FY'26 strategic planning, you will be instrumental in expanding our footprint within the Retirement Services domain while supporting modernization and integration initiatives across our retirement and investment platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Partner with clients to understand business challenges, strategic objectives, and transformation needs within the retirement and investment management space
- Functional Expertise: Provide deep domain knowledge and guidance on Annuities, Retirement Products, Investment Management, and Wealth & Retirement Services
- Solution Design: Lead the design of scalable, integrated solutions that address complex retirement ecosystem requirements
- RFP & Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling RFP responses, client workshops, and strategic roadmap discussions
- Business-Technology Translation: Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technology solutions in collaboration with business and technology teams
- Transformation Support: Support solution design and business transformation initiatives across retirement platforms and investment operations
- Modernization Initiatives: Contribute to digital transformation, platform modernization, and integration programs for retirement and investment services
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful engagement outcomes
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 15+ years of relevant Banking and Financial Services (BFS) domain experience
- Strong background in Retirement & Investment Management engagements
- Proven experience in solution design and business transformation initiatives
Domain Expertise
- Deep functional knowledge of Annuities
- Strong expertise in Retirement Products and product architecture
- Comprehensive understanding of Investment Management operations and strategies
- Solid knowledge of Wealth & Retirement Services ecosystems
- Familiarity with the integration of annuity products into retirement ecosystems
Core Competencies
- Exceptional stakeholder management and client engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into IT solutions
- Strong RFP preparation and client presentation experience
- Understanding of digital transformation and platform modernization programs
