PCMC Helper (Paper Converting Machine Operator) – Tabor City, NC
Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated PCMC Helper to assist machine operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Tabor City, NC. This position supports the operation of Paper Converting Machine (PCMC) equipment and helps ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining strict cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and cleanup of PCMC equipment
- Feed raw mill rolls into the converting line, continually monitor the run, and ensure high-speed processing without jams.
- Calibrate, configure, and adjust machine controls
- Supply materials and remove finished products from production areas
- Perform regular physical and visual inspections to catch defects, tears, misalignments, or improper gluing/folding.
- Monitor production flow and help maintain efficient machine operation
- Follow all company safety procedures and cleanliness requirements
- Keep work areas clean and organized at all times
- Assist with routine maintenance and changeovers as needed
Requirements
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must follow strict cleanliness and sanitation procedures while working
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be dependable and maintain good attendance
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test

- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour
