Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)primary function is the day-to-day direction of branch operations and clinical services to ensure quality care and efficient operations. Coordinates with the parent office, the interdisciplinary team, patient/client, family, and referring agency. Oversees QAPI issues at the branch level and directs staff with regard to Agency policies and procedures. Maximizes human, financial, and equipment resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs and coordinates branch, and assumes responsibility for continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered. Identifies problem areas to Administrator and the Supervising Nurse at the parent office.
- Promotes the philosophy, mission, and administrative policies of the Agency, in an effort to ensure quality of patient/client care.
- Employs, recruits, manages, and directs qualified personnel to carry out the policies and procedures of the Agency. Ensures staff education and evaluations.
- Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
- Monitors operational systems for efficiency and compliance with regulations and identifies problem areas to Administrator and the Supervising Nurse.
- Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the Agency and licensing board.
- Provides communication to parent office regarding needs of the branch to include personnel needs, financial needs, professional practices, quality issues, and planning.
- Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
- Promotes and monitors compliance with fiscal intermediary and / or other third-party payers, federal and state regulations, through education, coaching, QAPI program and other assistance, as necessary.
Compensation details: 85000-95000 Yearly Salary
