Fluid Life is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Brantford, ON. This is an exciting entry level opportunity toassistwith receiving, logginginand performing basic prep work on 600-800 samples per day. This is position involveslong periodsof repetitive work and standing in a stationary position for most of the day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform general administrative tasks including:
- Sample receipt
- Sample Data Entry
- Confirmation of billing on samples
- Sample Archival
- Sample Disposal
- Perform routine subsampling of lubricants,coolantsand fuels.
- Adhere to strict QA/QC requirements
- Observeestablished safety regulations andcomply withall health and safety policies and procedures
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possession of a High School Diploma preferred
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive Attitude
- Good Computer skills and knowledge of a MS-Windows platform
