Schedule: Shift – approximately 8 hours per day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break unless arrangements have been agreed to by the employer and the employee; 5 days/week. Usually 40 hours/week. This position will be required to work in Brothers’ main office located in Edgewater, CO.
JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Systems & Support Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure, cloud systems, end-user support environment, cybersecurity practices, and business applications. This role serves as the primary internal IT support resource and plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of Brothers Redevelopment’s technology systems. This position supports a hybrid technology environment consisting of Microsoft 365 cloud services, SharePoint, OneDrive, Synology systems, SaaS applications, VoIP communications, endpoint devices, and integrated business platforms. The IT Systems & Support Specialist provides hands-on technical support, manages user access and equipment lifecycle processes, coordinates with third-party vendors, assists with cybersecurity initiatives, and contributes to operational technology improvements across the organization. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, highly organized, technically adaptable, and capable of balancing day-to-day support responsibilities with longer-term systems and infrastructure projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Technical Support & End User Services
Serve as the primary point of contact for organization-wide IT support requests and technical troubleshooting. Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, VoIP systems, conferencing platforms, and related technology equipment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, cloud application, and user access issues. Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and professional manner while maintaining accurate documentation within the organization’s ticketing system. Prioritize technical issues based on operational impact and business needs. Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting employees with varying levels of technical proficiency.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud Systems Administration
Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related collaboration tools.Manage user accounts, permissions, licenses, group memberships, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and password resets. Support cloud-based file management, collaboration environments, and access governance. Assist with data organization, file permissions, retention practices, and shared resource management.
Infrastructure & Device Management
Maintain inventory and lifecycle management of all organizational technology assets including computers, monitors, printers, mobile hotspots, peripherals, and related equipment. Configure, deploy, maintain, and replace endpoint devices and related hardware. Support operating system upgrades, software deployments, and endpoint patch management. Assist with management of local networking equipment, wireless connectivity, and office technology infrastructure. Coordinate setup and deployment of technology resources for new hires, role changes, and employee offboarding. Manage company cell phone accounts including device management, deployment and asset management.Develop, implement and maintain an asset tracking system for all company owned technology devices.
Cybersecurity & Compliance Support
Assist with maintaining organizational cybersecurity practices and endpoint security standards. Support implementation and monitoring of antivirus, endpoint protection, MFA, backup, and system update processes. Participate in user access reviews and security audits. Assist with phishing awareness, cybersecurity best practices, and user training initiatives. Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers regarding security, infrastructure, and technology support needs. Support backup and disaster recovery processes for organizational systems and data.
Business Applications & Systems Support
Support and troubleshoot business-critical platforms and SaaS applications including:
Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Quickbase, Sage Intacct, RealPage, Formstack Zoom Phone, Adobe Products, Synology Systems, Other approved organizational software platforms.
Assist with software integrations, workflow improvements, automation initiatives, and APL-connected systems where applicable.
Support approved AI-enabled workplace tools and automation platforms in alignment with organizational policies and data security standards.
Training and Documentation
Provide user training and support for organizational software applications and technology tools.Develop and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, inventory records, and knowledge-base materials.Recommend technology improvements that promote operational efficiency, user productivity, and system reliability. Develop and maintain cyber security awareness training for employees.
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with leadership and departmental teams on technology-related initiatives and projects.Assist with vendor coordination, technology procurement, and equipment recommendations.Work with third party IT support vendor for software/equipment/afterhours support as needed. Provide onsite support to both the main office and all managed properties.Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Timely response and resolution of IT support requests in accordance with departmental service expectations. JOB QUALIFICICATIONS
Experience supporting nonprofit or multi-site office environments preferred.Experience supporting financial, property management, or ERP platforms preferred.Familiarity with user provisioning, SaaS administration, and cloud-based business systems preferred. Experience working with ticketing systems and IT asset management platforms preferred.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING
High school diploma or GED required.Associates degree or higher in information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.Minimum of three (3) years of experience providing IT support in professional office environment.Experience supporting Microsoft 365 cloud environments and business productivity platforms.Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, software applications, printers, VoIP systems, and network connective issues. Strong understanding of user account administration, permissions management, and endpoint device support.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional local travel.
EXPERIENCE
Experience supporting nonprofit organizations or multi-site environments.Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure/Entra ID, endpoint management platforms, or mobile device management (MDM).Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security tools.Experience supporting cloud integration, workflow automation, or SaaS application administration. Industry certifications such as: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Fundamentals or Administrator, Certifications.

Computer, computer software, scanner, printer, telephone, copier, facsimile machine, calculator, postage machine, paper cutter, and hand truck. May use other equipment as required for the position.
