The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation raises and manages funds to support the educational initiatives of the Fraternity as well as the upkeep and operation of the Levere Memorial Temple.
General Overview
The Coordinator of Donor Services & Stewardship plays a crucial role in supporting the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation’s mission by ensuring a seamless donor experience from first gift to ongoing engagement. This position is responsible for managing gift processing, responding to donor inquiries with professionalism and care, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records. The Coordinator helps organize stewardship initiatives, ensuring that donors feel appreciated and connected to the Foundation. This opportunity is perfect for an entry-level, detail-oriented individual to help guide donor operations and advance the Foundation’s goals through meaningful relationship-building and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
● Execute daily gift entry from multiple sources and perform monthly reconciliations of donation records with the Accounting Team
● Craft and deliver personalized gift acknowledgment letters and other stewardship communications to build lasting donor relationships
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records within the Foundation’s database
● Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries via email and phone
● Coordinate a variety of administrative tasks, including processing check requests
● Manage restricted fund accounts by preparing reports and processing disbursements
● Assist with donor stewardship efforts, including donor recognition programs, special communications, and other outreach campaigns
● Manage inventory of giveaways, pins, and coins
● Support cross-departmental projects and assist with annual fundraising initiatives
● Represent the Foundation at SAE events, connecting with alumni and supporters to advance our mission
● Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
● A bachelor's degree is preferred
● 1-2 years of experience, experience in nonprofit organizations is preferred
● SAE membership is not required, but Greek organization affiliation is preferred

● Exceptional attention to detail
● Highly organized with the ability to think critically and solve problems proactively
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with donors, alumni, staff, and volunteers
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
● Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently while also contributing actively to a team environment.
● Deep understanding and commitment to the mission of Sigma Alpha Epsilon
● Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with donor database management systems (such as Salesforce or similar CRM platforms)
Hybrid
All employees in non-travel-intensive roles are expected to be in the office for at least 2 days per week. From time to time, as part of annual initiatives, major projects, or company events, employees may be asked to exceed this in-office minimum to support collaborative needs.
