Inspiration Day Treatment is seeking a motivated, compassionate, hardworking Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) to provide supportive services to individuals experiencing mental health, emotional, or behavioral challenges. Working under the supervision of licensed clinicians, this role assists clients with daily living skills, coping strategies, crisis intervention, treatment plan implementation, and community integration. The ideal candidate demonstrates compassion, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to support diverse populations in clinical and community-based settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and supervision to clients in individual or group settings.
- Assist clients in developing life skills, social skills, and coping mechanisms.
- Support implementation of individualized treatment or behavior plans developed by licensed clinicians.
- Monitor client behavior, emotional well-being, and progress toward goals.
- Document client interactions, incidents, observations, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Transport clients to appointments, community resources, or activities as required.
- Collaborate with therapists, families, and other care providers.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with mental health or behavioral health needs preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work effectively within a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Available to work Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist clients as needed.
- Ability to respond quickly during mental health crises.
- May require lifting up to 25 pounds.
