Job Purpose:
In this dynamic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, oversee daily operations, and lead a friendly team dedicated to quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Manage daily café operations, including opening, closing, staffing and maintaining cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and manage sales efficiently.
- Oversee inventory levels, restock supplies, and coordinate food handling and preparation to ensure smooth service flow.
- Train new staff on food safety protocols, proper food handling techniques, POS operation, and customer service excellence.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism and positive attitude to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista and one year previous café or food service experience required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
- Demonstrated ability in time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising or leading a team in a food industry setting preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting supplies, and working in a fast-paced environment
