We are looking for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to help us continue to scale and modernize our platform. This role will focus heavily on upgrading and enhancing various legacy components in our stack to support the development of new applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external teams to continuously test product features as they progress from development, to staging and production environments
- Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process
- Update key aspects of code/design to increase testability where possible
- Create automated end-to-end tests via Cypress and configure automated triggers to fire, run, report and notify engineers and stakeholders of regressions
- Create automated unit tests and integration tests server-side via RSpec
- Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams
- Monitor, report and Improve code coverage and test pass percentage of existing tests
- Collaborate with team members via Slack, email, and voice to cooperatively solve problems and complete work
- Create more robust end-to-end automated tests that interact directly with deployed websites
- Design and implement test plans and test cases
- Develop and execute automated UI/UX and functional tests
- Enhance and maintain automated CI flows
Requirements - 5-7 years of experience in professional software testing and/or development
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- Some familiarity with Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Ember.js, Cypress, QUnit, React, and Jest is preferred
- Experience with performing QA or software development in early stage company
- Experience with Test Automation strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle and general software development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Resumé/application materials must be submitted in English, as this is the primary language used for all internal and external communication
