The Elaine Sterling Institute (ESI) is seeking a licensed Esthetician Instructor with a true passion for education and student success.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys mentoring, inspiring, and preparing students for rewarding careers in the beauty industry. As an Instructor at ESI, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of estheticians through a blend of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and real-world expertise.

What you'll do
Instruction & Student Success
- Deliver engaging lessons using ESI-approved curriculum
- Lead demonstrations, lectures, hands-on training, and skills assessments
- Prepare students for the State Board Certification Exam
- Motivate students to maintain attendance and a high GPA
Classroom Leadership
- Manage student attendance, participation, and retention
- Conduct monthly academic progress reviews
- Counsel and support students in their development and accountability
- Maintain a structured, positive, and professional learning environment
Administration & Compliance
- Accurately track grades, attendance, and clock hours
- Enforce ESI policies, dress code, and Student Handbook standards
- Ensure compliance with Georgia State Board safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain classroom supplies and report equipment needs
Mentorship & Industry Leadership
- Serve as a mentor, role model, and trusted industry resource
- Stay current with skincare trends and industry advancements
- Support student placement into the spa and beauty industry
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Esthetician License AND Instructor License in good standing
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organization and classroom management abilities
- Ability to engage students with diverse learning styles
- Patient, adaptable, and student-focused mindset
- Genuine passion for education, beauty, and mentorship
