Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Treatment and Oncology team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, serve as a clinical resource, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes. You will play a key role in care coordination, patient education, and continuous improvement of clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, care needs, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and support services to coordinate care
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
- Provide emergency care and triage as needed
- Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with policies and regulations
- Support and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other team members
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction
- Medication pre-authorization verification
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous RN experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
