As a Human Resources Intern, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the HR team while gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle. This is a great opportunity to build a strong foundation in Human Resources within a fast-paced, growing medical device organization.
WhatYou’llDo:
- Partner with the HR team to support a variety of people-related initiatives and projects across the employee lifecycle
- Assist with research, analysis, and preparation of insights to help inform HR and business decisions
- Contribute to the development, organization, and improvement of HR programs, processes, and materials
- Support the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and documentation
- Assist in preparing communications and resources for employees and managers
- Provide general coordination and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and continuous improvement efforts
What You Bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field preferred)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong proofreading and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (HRIS experience is a plus)
- Strong customer service mindset and professional presence
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Compensation:
This is a paid internship position with an hourly rate of $30 per hour.
This role is based in Leesburg, VA or Allendale, NJ. While non-local candidates may apply, relocation and housing assistance are not provided, and candidates are responsible for all related expenses.
VB Spine reserves the right to offer compensation outside of this listed range. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers factors such as experience level, skill set, and market conditions.
