The Loader Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to maintain stockpile areas and create a seamless loading operation. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to multi-task. The Loader Operator will fill in as a backup CDL driver as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate loader to load and transfer bulk landscape materials from yard onto trucks and trailers
- Provide quality customer service to clients by answering questions and loading their purchases
- Perform pre- and post -shift equipment inspection and maintain equipment repairs and maintenance records according to company standards
- Report any problems to maintenance personnel and managers
- Rotate product inventory for manufacturing accessibility
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prioritize safety and efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma/GED required or one to three months related experience and/or training
- Valid Class B license
- Experience with construction equipment preferred
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
- Excellent customer service skills
