Position Description:
We are seeking aDataProduct Specialistto join our dynamicData Solutionsteam in the financial technology sector. This role is critical in bridging client needs with our data capabilities, ensuring seamless delivery of custom data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
Responsibilities:
Product Client Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on data-related capabilities and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support for data solution enhancements and troubleshooting.
Data Solution Design & Delivery:
- Validate solutions against client requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Identifydata trends relevant to the market and ourclients'needs
- Macro and micro visualization and evaluation of data from a variety of sources / files such as
- Leveragedatareportingtoolssuch as Excel, SQL, Tableautocreate anddeliver clientsolutions and products
- Partner with respective leaders on effective data manipulation and transformation strategies
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to capture and document requirements for custom data files and solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
Pre-Sales Support:
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensureaccurateandtimelydelivery of custom data files.
- Partner with the Sales team to provide technicalexpertiseduring the pre-sales process.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, demos,andproposals to prospective clients.
- Assistin responding to RFPs and client inquiries related to data solutions.
Desired and or Required Attributes:
- Must be willing and or able tocommute to the NYC office
- Must be willing totravel for client(roughly10%)
- Experience withinFCM, trading,buy-sidefirms,brokerages,and largebanksindustriesrequired
- 3+ years of experience in data solutions, business analysis, or pre-sales support within a technology or financial services environment.
- At least 2+years ina client-facinganalytical position
- Strong understanding of data formats (CSV, XML, JSON) and integration methods (APIs, SFTP).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- BA or BSinComputerScience, Data Analytics, Finance, or related fieldrequired
