Role: Inside Sales/Estimator

Warrior Precast is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Inside Sales/Estimator to support our growing operations. This role is critical in developing accurate, competitive project cost estimates by analyzing construction documents, performing quantity takeoffs, and leveraging market data. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to develop comprehensive and accurate cost
- estimates
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing for all project components, with an emphasis on precast and structural elements
- Analyze construction documents across multiple trade disciplines to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Develop and apply unit pricing using current and historical market data
- Estimate project overhead, general conditions, and indirect costs
- Participate in and support the full bid and proposal process, including organization, coordination, and submission
- Conduct system trade-off analyses (e.g., structural systems, foundations, mechanical components) to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare conceptual and preliminary estimates with limited design information under tight timelines
- Utilize square-foot and conceptual cost models to support early-stage project budgeting
- Tailor estimate detail and presentation base
- Other duties as assigned and/or required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on industry experience)
- 5+ years of estimating experience in construction, with preference for precast, concrete, or structural projects
- Proven ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents across multiple trade disciplines
- Strong experience with quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and bid preparation processes
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and means & methods particularly within precast or
- structural systems
- Experience developing and applying unit pricing using both current market data and historical cost information
- Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and general proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to perform conceptual and preliminary estimates with limited design information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost risks and value engineering opportunities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to operate both independently and within a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of local and regional construction markets (Southeast preferred) is a plus
