Position Summary
Zachry Construction is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Accounts Payable process for both the Home Office and Field Projects. This position plays an important role in maintaining the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of financial and administrative operations.
What You'll Do
- Process Invoices - Match tickets or requisitions with the invoice, verifying that taxes being billed are correct, and posting the invoice into SAP.
- Vendor Support - Review, verify, and reconcile vendor statements and discrepancies. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
- Project Support - Collaborate with project team members to ensure timely payment of subcontracts and other related project costs.
- Special projects as directed by management.

What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of accounts payable experience (preferably in a construction or trades environment).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of SAP accounting software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks against set deadlines.
- Dependable, self-motivated and task oriented.
