About the role
- We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support a high-volume purchasing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on managing purchase requisitions and purchase orders within SAP, ensuring requests are complete, accurate, and processed efficiently through the procurement workflow.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in SAP, and proactive in resolving issues so purchase orders move smoothly through the system without delays.
What you'll do
- Review and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) within SAP
- Identify and resolve issues such as missing information, incorrect vendors, or approval gaps
- Convert approved PRs into purchase orders (POs) and release them in the system
- Collaborate with engineers, internal teams, and vendors to resolve purchasing or order issues
- Track requisitions and follow up to ensure orders are processed on time
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and support procure-to-pay workflows
- Assist with vendor setup, documentation, and purchasing compliance when needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactional work
- Effective communication skills when working with internal teams and vendors
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or semiconductor environments is a plus
