JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
- Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
- Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
- Analyzing engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.
- Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide daily support and guidance on all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.
- Ongoing and frequent interaction with both manufacturing engineer team members, assembly technicians and line leadership, quality, engineering, etc.
- Team Structure: A group of process manufacturing engineers dedicated to the 3600-engine line, working within a large engine assembly factory.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Years of experience: 3-5+ years of engineering/technical experience
- Degree requirement: Undergraduate degree in engineering or engineering technology
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge in engineering and factory systems, engine manufacturing, demonstrated ability to deliver quality results with a sense of urgency.
- Collaborative Automation: Knowledge of techniques and processes of collaborative automation; ability to develop and deploy cobots to automate manufacturing processes.
