Böhme was founded by Vivien and Fernanda Böhme, two sisters from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil who immigrated to the United States as young girls. With the usual struggles of an immigrant family, work was inevitable from an early age. Their strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for success lead to them opening Böhme in 2006 at just 23 & 24 years old. Böhme is led by Vivien’s mind for business as CEO and Fernanda’s eye for design as Creative Director. Today we have store locations across the western US and employ over 200 women.
About the role
Who we are looking for?
An outgoing, professional Sales Lead to work in conjunction with the Store Manager to maintain excellent customer service, merchandise presentation, loss prevention, and operation assignments as outlined by the Store Manager and Field Leadership. We are looking for a team player who will contribute a positive approach to the customer shopping experience through knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient service while maintaining the store and personal appearance standards. Bohme is a fun, fast-paced environment focused around the experience of our customers!
What you'll do
- Open store and maintain opening operations on scheduled days
- Close store and maintain closing operations on scheduled days
- Execute the bank deposits
- Complete markdowns on sale and damaged good when instructed
- Receive and help merchandise inventory shipments
- Promote and motivate staff to achieve sales goals, as well as your own. Communicate goals and monitor achievements
- Effectively ensure that customers are serviced properly by direct selling and monitoring of sales floor
- Inform all staff of daily assignments and böhme initiatives as outlined by Store Manager and the Corporate Office
- Make merchandise and floor changes as assigned by Store Manager
- Uphold loss prevention standards and secure store assets and property of böhme
- Maintain housekeeping and organization of sales floor, backroom, cash wrap and all other areas of the store
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- At least one-year supervisory or leadership experience or equivalent education
- Excellent organization, verbal and written skills
