About the role
- Working within our purpose-built facility, our Quality Control Inspectors perform a vital role in our business to help us inspect electronic components
What you'll do
- Undertaking visual inspections of electronic components
- Using state-of-the-art test equipment to perform detailed visual inspections
- Researching component information in order to compare components with data sheet specifications
- Counting and sorting electronic components
- Verifying all customer requirements are being met
- Performing light inventory duties
- Cross training for Value Added Services at SMT Corp. (Bake and Seal, Tape & Reel, Etc.)
- Cross training in different departments as needed at SMT Corp. (electrical department, authenticity department)
Qualifications
- The role does require a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, ability to follow repetitive testing standards, and good eyesight.
- Components are stored within our warehouse and you will be required to undertake some light lifting (up to 40 lbs) and climb ladders (up to10 ft).
- Ability to work in a ESD and FOD Lab controlled environment.
