About the role
Parkline Motors is looking for a skilled Detailer to help prepare vehicles for sale at our dealership. This role is responsible for ensuring each vehicle meets dealership presentation standards so it can be photographed, advertised, and presented to customers. The right candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can keep pace in a high-volume dealership environment where vehicles move through the process quickly. Vehicles must consistently meet dealership presentation standards before they are photographed, advertised, or placed on the sales lot.
What you'll do
- Clean and prepare vehicle interiors, exteriors, and engine bays across a variety of vehicle types
- Operate detailing equipment including steamers, pressure washers, vacuums, air hoses, and related tools
- Apply cleaning, protective, and restorative products to bring vehicles up to dealership standards
- Prepare vehicles quickly and consistently to support dealership sales and inventory turnover
- Move, park, and organize vehicles around the lot as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area throughout the day
- Properly clean work areas and store equipment at the end of each shift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous detailing experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet dealership quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to meet daily production expectations and adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening as required by state law
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- Schedule may include Monday through Saturday depending on dealership needs
- Work is performed in a dealership lot and shop environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals, equipment, and varying weather conditions
