Cancer Registrar
Responsible for the maintenance of Cancer Registry records including data abstracting, program documentation, patient follow-up, quality control, patient care audits and related reports. Performs procedures in conformance with standards of the American College of Surgeons. Submits data to Massachusetts Cancer Registry and the National Cancer Data Base(NCDB). Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology (R.H.I.T.) or equivalent required. Certified Tumor Registrar (C.T.R.) or eligible within six months required.
