We are seeking a highly skilled Community Director to join our team at Carriage Homes on the Lake in Garland, TX. If you are a seasoned property management professional who thrives in varied environments and enjoys new challenges, we want to hear from you!
As a Community Director at Carriage Homes on the Lake, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the property. Your primary objective will be to ensure the property is well-maintained, fully occupied, and provides a high-quality living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the property, ensuring it is well-maintained and operating efficiently.
- Manage leasing processes, including showing units, processing applications, and executing leases.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Supervise property staff, including maintenance and leasing teams.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
- Handle resident complaints, conflicts, and emergencies in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager.
- Strong team mentality with full open-mindedness and great at thinking outside the box.
- Forward thinking with the ability to promote and try new ways of doing things.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Experience with HUD properties.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals.
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and delivering results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in property management software, RealPage OneSite preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
