Ready to be the hero of our hotel? As a Maintenance Engineer, youll be the go-to fixer, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure our guests and team enjoy a safe, comfortable environment. Youll get hands-on with everything from HVAC and plumbing to electrical and mechanical systemsthink of it as your backstage pass to the inner workings of the hotel! KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical & Preventive Maintenance Powerhouse: Take charge of daily inspections, repairs, and fine-tuning across our hotels plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and other systemscatching small issues before they become big ones. Perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms, common spaces, and on essential equipment (from refrigerators to ice machines), keeping everything running smoothly for an exceptional guest experience. Handle minor carpentry, painting, and furniture repairs to ensure our hotel remains both beautiful and fully operational.
- Quick-Fix Hero: Jump into action to solve equipment hiccups, leaks, and those mysterious electrical issuesno problem too puzzling! Tackle emergencies like fire alarms and power outages with cool confidence, always putting guest safety front and center.
- Safety Superpowers: Move objects over 50 lbs., scale ladders, and power through physically demanding tasks with strength and stamina. Follow OSHA safety guidelines when wielding tools, handling chemicals, and operating machinerysafety first, always! Keep work areas spotless and safe, with proper storage for tools and hazardous materials to protect everyone.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in hotel maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license required, with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

PROPERTY INFORMATION:
Whether visitors are taking the whole family to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, touring the western Lehigh Valley wineries or are here for business with one of the many corporations based in Allentown, PAMack, Nestle and Olympus among themthe suites at our Allentown, PA hotel let guests do things their way. A hot full breakfast is included seven days a week. We invite our guests to enjoy an included evening social served Monday through Thursday, and stock their suites kitchen with favorites. A 24-hour fitness center and indoor pool allow for maintaining any exercise program.
